Bauer-Kirby Disc Dillution Test

Small wafers containing antibiotics are placed onto a  petri dish upon which bacteria are growing known as the "Lawn". If the bacteria are sensitive to an antibiotic, a clear ring, or zone of inhibition, is seen around the wafer indicating poor or no growth . Indicating sensitivity to the antibiotic.
